Urban Camp with the Grade 6 Graduating Class

Wrote a huge entry about thwonderful excursion but the blog site froze while saving and  I couldn't access the entry.
I will try to remember all the details.
120 children.
12 teachers, parents and aids
So well organized.
Trams, trains, escalators, platforms...
Keeping the children safe at all times
Days from 7am -11:00pm
Explored Melbourne independently with my 9 beautiful students
Kids met Costa, celebrating gardener in Australia. Filmed and will be on Melbourne website.
Dinner with camp cook Nazi
Tour of Etihad stadium...of footy games and concerts
Amazing race - check points around Melbourne - challenges - Tim Tams covered in vegemite.
Won most creative photo
 7/9 of group keen, 2/9 th dragging.
We still had fun!
Fish Dinner at Port Melbourne.
Swimming at MCAS...state of the art aquatic centre
Melbourne zoo
Many firsts...liked vegemite, drank Milo, Discovered Port Melbourne, wave pool, water slide and water obstacle course! :-)
Loved working with staff, parents and kids
Pleasantly exhausted!
It took me an hour to write the last entry full of anecdotes and detail. This is a abbreviated version.
Miss you sooo much my family and friends in Canada!
Enjoying getting to know my new Aussie friends.

  2. Exactly!!! Why or why would you put that horrible spread on delectable Tim Tams?????? Wonder if there will be an Urban Camp experience in the cards for the Crossland students when you return? I'll volunteer.
