Instead of driving into Melbourne for the food and wine festival, we found a food, wine AND MUSIC and festival even closer to home on the beach. The Mordialloc Festival featured craft breweries and wineries along with amazing food vendors such as the Flying Calamari which were as delicious as Calamari we ate in Greece. The jazz and blues acts were great. We stayed for 4 acts. Then headed out to the beach and pier to take in the view of Phillips bay on the perfect 25°C first day of Autumn. Brrr...:-)
Tom Richardson?! I wonder if he is the same TR getting (??) or got (??) airplay on CBC Radio 2? Going to look into a bit more. If I recall, he is a blues guitarist??
ReplyDeleteMarch 1, first day of autumn. So Australians don't use the solstices or equinoxes. I think this is what happens in parts of Europe as well.
